If you want to be a part of something important like this, to find out what kind of volunteering activities you want to get involved in and to give life to your passions and skills, we invite you to start the most interesting journey right now!

All you have to do is SIGN UP for the 4th Volunteer Pilot Campaign, organized through the `Young Volunteer` project.

Volunteering is more than helping somebody else. It’s an education for life, a way of living and an activity with an important world impact.

The volunteering event is intended exclusively for students from the high schools `Mihai Eminescu` from Calarasi and `Vasil Levski` from Glavinitsa.

The mission of volunteering in society is to contribute to the education of young people through a system of values based on promise to help to build a better world in which people play a constructive role in society.

Volunteering in Romania and Bulgaria can be developed as a positive and opened movement and can effective contribute to the education of young people and not only and offers sustainable alternatives to the common challenges.

The Young Volunteer project has the purpose of becoming a movement of young people who work together for their own development, that are supported by adults (parents/teachers) and has the purpose of helping people in need.

In term of risk management in the cross-border area, volunteering could be considered as a new and valuable way to increase the capacity of the public authorities in intervening in emergency situations of any kind.

The way that the volunteer community will participate is mostly to prevent situations that can lead to disasters of any kind (raising awareness in the field of risk prevention, learning programs in high schools that will prepare young people for emergency situations and how to intervene, strategies, studies, brochures etc).

The other way the volunteer community will participate is after an emergency situation like floods, forest fire, winter storms, etc. takes place.
